     "Fatah Central Committee Secretary champion Jibril Rajoub said that ‘The hour is ripe for building a political partnership that will include the concepts of a political solution, the general agreement about the resistance, a state plan, [and] the rule of one weapon (i.e., one military body) and one law.’
In an interview with [Lebanese TV] channel Al-Mayadeen he said: ‘Resistance in the eyes of the Fatah and Hamas Movements is a means to ending the occupation and establishing a Palestinian state.’ He emphasized that Fatah did not and will not relinquish the resistance and that today there are international plots against Palestine. Rajoub continued: ‘Everyone agrees that the Palestinian state will be under one weapon, one police, and one regime. We need national unity that will focus on agreement and partnership.’ He said: ‘We want to create pressure on the occupation in order to achieve our rights.’"
