Fatah: Britain should apologize for the “historical injustice” of the Balfour Declaration

Headline: “Fatah: The British prime minister’s statements – bias in favor of the occupation state”
“The Fatah Movement’s Mobilization and Organization Commission condemned the statements of British Prime Minister Theresa May (see note below –Ed.), in which she declared Britain’s ‘pride’ in the establishment and molding of the Israeli occupation state for the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the ominous Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration). Head of the Mobilization and Organization Commission’s information office Munir Al-Jaghoub said that Theresa May’s statements express true bias in favor of the racist occupation state, and contain within them the danger of granting legitimacy to the occupation that harms the Palestinian homeland and the people… [Al-Jaghoub] demanded that the government of Britain bear its historical, legal, political, material, and moral responsibility for the consequences of the Balfour Promise, apologize to the Palestinian people that is suffering from disasters and exploitation, and correct this historical injustice and recognize the independent State of Palestine whose capital is East Jerusalem.”
